Dance programs

For clients selecting lunch or dinner programs, we recommend authentic folk dance or entertaining folk programs between the serving of the courses. The show offers a glimpse into the rich and regionally diverse traditions of Hungarian folk dance and folklore costumes.

After the breath-taking opening dance presented by dancers in the traditional costumes of Budafok, our guests are invited to the stage to demonstrate their commitment to learning Hungarian dance moves, while being cheered by their peers.

The first part of the show is closed by dances of men and women using tools that present the traditional forms of courting. The second part of the show is dominated by the czardas of Szatmar, which is the embodiment of the Hungarian dance style. The third part includes the dance of Kalotaszeg, and the production is closed by a rhythmical gypsy dance.

Traditional Hungarian flavors

Our mission is to introduce the masterpieces of Hungarian culinary art to foreign visitors. The courses are prepared by our Olympic medalist master chef József Révész and his team.

In the course of the evening, our most enthusiastic guests can compete with our Olympic medalist master chef and prepare a side dish for the main course from ingredients typical of the region (goose liver, onion, bacon, red paprika and egg barley).

During the exhibition cooking, we first prepare the uniquely tasting Mike-budai ragout -in the restaurant in front of the guests and it is served by our servers as a side dish with the main course.

Gipsy music

During the selected program, guests are entertained by our first violinist, József Balázs and his four-member gypsy band. The repertoire of the artists who regularly perform with the Hungarian State Folk Ensemble extend from traditional Hungarian folk songs, through chansons and operas, to classical music.

The musicians are happy to play the popular tunes of our guests` homelands thereby guaranteeing an unforgettable evening.

Photography wine

We immortalize the best moments of the time spent here. Our Guests are welcome to take this photo home, incorporated into the label of a bottle of Budafok wine.
